The Sahara as
we see it
The Sahara isn't a tour. It's a place you travel through, with a vehicle that takes you where normal cars can't. The Sahara isn't a place you go to see something. It's a place you go to understand silence, true darkness, the scale of distances...
The days
Buggy days alternate between three distinct phases. There's the relaxed driving on open tracks, where the vehicle makes its way and the landscape unfolds. There's the technical part, crossing steep dunes, soft sand, and sections that require caution.
And there are slow passages in the villages and oases along the route, where you stop for as long as needed.
The nights
Pre-arranged tented camps in the desert, complete with tents, beds, and amenities. If conditions permit, a night in a tent on the sand under a desert sky unlike any other. At the beginning and end of the trip, you'll sleep in a hotel, allowing you to catch your breath after the flight and before returning home.
The rhythm
There's no rigid schedule. There's a planned route, flexible timeframes, and a desert guide who works with us to decide how to adapt it day by day.
What you need to know
GETTING THERE: You fly independently. We'll tell you the nearest airport and transfer options. We'll meet you there on the first day of your trip.
THE VEHICLES: Side-by-Side Buggies, one for every two people. The vehicles are already on site; you don't need to bring one from home. You don't need to be an expert driver: I'll explain the technical sections, and for the most challenging parts, you can take the wheel yourself if you prefer. A class B license is sufficient.
THE GROUP: Maximum eight people, four buggies. With more than one vehicle, the desert becomes a caravan, and you lose all sense of where you've come from.

THE GUIDES: A local desert guide who knows every fold of sand and every trail. A mechanical support vehicle is always available. We work with local partners who have already taken us on our first trip.
